You may have heard the name Lester Hall before, he's one of New Zealand’s most well known interpretative artists. However don’t be fooled, this guy is much more than an artist. He’s a pretty good sailor, a bit of a historian and a dab hand with pre-loved furniture too.
His brilliant interpretative ability means he can paint or create anything for just about anybody. Lester takes people’s likes, dislikes and what gets them out of bed in the morning and uses all that to create inspirational and original pieces of furniture, paintings and more. The result is artwork that holds a personal narrative, with the ability to move and work within the everyday demands and juxtapositions of life.
