Received this note from Murray Bennett of Port Motueka in 2021:
"She started fishing out of Motueka mid 70's owned by Doug Fry. This was after she ran aground on the Spit. She was still "yacht" configuration. Absolutely beautiful she was. Still had full saloon with superb woodwork (varnished_oiled) Two masted, had 4 cyl Ford. Doug replaced the 4 cyl with a 6 out of Ronga Marie. Had single drum winch shell fishing with 1 dredge. Doug sold it to Neil Schroeder when he retired. Neil fished it for a year then put it in Tibble & Parson's shed to turn it into a "fishing boat". Can't remember the name of the guy who did the work, shed was owned by Infield engineers both Gordan Tibble & Snorer Parsons had moved on. ( both superb old school boat builders) Even back then it seemed like sacrilege, she was so beautiful & ahead of her time."
